New brand highlights culture and nature experiences in gardens and parks
A new brand "European Gardens" - culture, nature and pleasure" is going to take part in ensuring the tourist / the visitor an perfect culture and nature experience in gardens and parks in Northern Europe.
The brand came into existence in collaboration between Turisme region syd in Denmark,
Båstad Turism Ltd. in Sweden, Västra Finlands Miljöcentral in Finland and Regierungsbezirk Lüneburg, Celle in Germany with purpose of further developing and making visible gardens and parks.
About 150 gardens and parks are chosen because they symbolize a cultural heritage and have a high quality of experience. At the same time there is attached importance to dissimilarity among the represented gardens. You can find gardens with for example a particular historical value in which there are castles and manor houses; gardens with an artistic distinctive mark in which there are attached exhibitions in the form of for instance exotic animals. The spectrum covers a wide field and with European Gardens there should be room for culture, nature and pleasure.
